7:00pm (prelude at 6:45pm)
Christ the King Church
Christ the King Church will host a Prayer Service for Peace on Wednesday evening, March 30. All are welcome to attend this service of prayer, readings, and inspirational music, regardless of religious affiliation.
In these forty days of Lent we are all on a journey towards Christ — a journey that progresses through prayer, fasting, and reconciliation, and that leads, with hopeful hearts, towards the joy of the Resurrection. But at the same time, we recognize that there is turmoil in our world — from war in Ukraine and unrest in other areas of the globe, to racial strife and political discord in our own country — and we yearn for an end to that turmoil, for peace in our world. With this gathering we will pray that God will lead us on a path towards an understanding of opposing viewpoints, cessation of conflict, and inner peace.
The Prayer Service for Peace begins with a choral prelude at 6:45 pm, followed by the service starting at 7:00.

The Prayer Service for Peace will be live-streamed via Zoom. Use the Daily Mass Link to join. Please be aware that the audio quality may be lower than what you would experience in person.
