Youth Faith Formation

Faith Formation classes for our youth (grades K–8) are held on Sunday mornings from 9:15 to 10:15 am (after the 8:00 am Mass and before the 10:30 am Mass). Classes are held from October through April. Curricula for our youth classes are lectionary-based, reinforcing the teachings of the Sunday readings.

2021–22 classes began on October 3, 2021 and have ended for the school year!  Classes will resume in October 2022.  Watch this space and the parish bulletin for information at the end of the summer.

Confirmation 2022  (for students who began their preparation in October 2021)

A new class of 9th graders will form in the fall to begin their preparation for Confirmation in 2023.  A dedicated web page will be created at that time and we will post a link here.

Note: all classes will follow COVID safety guidelines, and all students will be required to
wear face coverings, use hand sanitizer, and practice social distancing.

Grades K–5

From Faith for Fives through the fifth grade, young people in faith formation classes learn about their Catholic faith through a series of lectionary-based programs.

Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Communion (and receipt of both sacraments) takes place in second grade.

Middle School (Grades 6–8)

As our young people mature and become more aware of the world around them, so too does their faith education evolve to help them learn to take Christ with them into the world.

Still lectionary-based, the Middle School curriculum introduces the students to the idea of service to others, teaching them to integrate their faith into their everyday lives.
