women’s bible study
Do you desire to grow in your Catholic faith? Do you seek connection with other women in our community? We invite you to consider joining Walking with Purpose at Christ the King Church, where you'll find small groups, personal study and application, and wonderful community!
Choose from four Bible studies:
9:30am WEDNESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY OPTIONS:
Passionate Discipleship (9 weeks, fall semester): Throughout Church history, men and women have spent their lives on mission, committed to spreading the gospel message. They were disciples who made disciples. What does that look like for the Catholic woman today? How do we practically follow their footsteps, ensuring that the message of Jesus Christ continues to reach every nation and generation? Passionate Discipleship is a Bible study focused on equipping women to know Christ and to make Him known. Throughout this Bible study, we will study 2 Timothy verse by verse as we immerse ourselves in Paul’s last and deeply personal letter to his beloved friend and mentee, Timothy.
Passionate Discipleship will begin on October 1, 2025 and will be completed on December 10, 2025.

Rooted and Radiant (6 weeks, spring semester): This study was written for any woman who wants to live her life grounded in Jesus Christ. In this Bible study, we learn the book of Colossians verse by verse as we seek to understand the challenges that faced the Colossians, recognizing that they are remarkably similar to our own challenges today. Through this Bible study, we dive deep into understanding who Jesus is and what that means for us. We learn how to abide in the wisdom of Christ to navigate the ever-increasing demands and messages of our culture, and what it means to live in the freedom of Christ and how to continually set our minds on Him.
Rooted and Radiant will begin on January 28, 2026 and will be completed by March 11, 2026.

6:30pm WEDNESDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY OPTIONS:

Opening Your Heart (22 weeks): This study is best suited for beginners — the first step in a woman’s exploration of her Catholic Faith and her relationship with Jesus Christ. This guide is designed to inspire thoughtful consideration of the fundamental questions of faith — from why and how to pray, to the role of the holy Spirit in our lives and the purpose of suffering. More than anything it’s a challenge to open your heart to the only one who can heal and transform lives.
Opening Your Heart will begin on October 1, 2025 and will be completed on March 25, 2026.

Touching the Divine (22 weeks): Touching the Divine is a study focused on the many qualities of Jesus revealed through the Gospel of John. The study draws us into a deeper, loving relationship with Jesus as we reflect on His life and personality. Saint John referred to himself as “the disciple whom Jesus loved.” Through John’s eyes we learn how much Jesus loves us, and how His love is the true satisfaction of our souls. Knowing Christ more intimately, as John did, will touch your heart and fill you with hope!
Touching the Divine will begin on October 1, 2025 and will be completed on March 25, 2026.
